IBTM sought our creative prowess for their Barcelona event. Their goal? To rekindle event culture’s excitement and rescue industry folks from burnout so deep they would chat up coat racks out of desperation. We wrapped this in the most outrageous paper we could find and gave them this video. A man trapped in his mundane office, gazes at a photo among industry legends from a past IBTM event. The stark contrast between this memory and his current humdrum life unfolds like an office sitcom. Colleagues endure lacklustre birthdays, some talk to coat racks, embodying the yearning for community and excitement. We want event pros to see it and envision IBTM 2023 as the industry’s espresso shot – invigorating, no caffeine crash. It’s the pep they deserve!
